We were winding down the trip when we found one of the most under-publicized jewels of the trip. At least it was for Sally who loves birds. I liked it too since there was so much water. That jewel is named the Sackville Waterfowl Park and it’s just over the border from Nova Scotia. The photo above will become a 5'x7' mural on our living room wall.
There is another waterfowl preserve just out of Amherst and we enjoyed it but this was better. You viewed Amherst from the road, but you walk through Sackville. When I show pictures of Amherst, I will caption them. A young man named Christian and a young lady named Charlotte work in the visitor center and made the day much brighter in Sackville. There were a couple birds we couldn’t identify and they were full of information.
Our intention here is to put everything in the slide show and I hope you enjoy.
