Birds
Truth be told if we were really a farm we would eat these critters. I do not like chicken and dont think I want the other birds either. The muscovies are the ones that are really supposed to be different. We dont eat them. We feed them.
There is something to be said about being able to sit around outside and not get eaten up by bugs. The guinea are the best at that but the others are good. it cost us about $15 per week to feed them so we may not be good citizens there but we do know what we like. There is an uncontrolled chaos (redundant - I dont care.) every time we throw out feed. Not shown are the geese who are the farms loudmouths and they think they run the show but I doubt it. I'm not sure I have seen anything as tough as a muscovie drake.
I'm off subject now. The long term articles will probably be about parrots. They are the only birds that are meant to be companions. We will probably blog on a fairly regular basis of about once a week until they are grown. The others will get a blog explaining about them. Hope you enjoy.
