I was just talking about jeep pickups with someone the other day. He told me that Jeep was considering coming out with one called a Gladiator. Told him that they had a Gladiator before he was born. Then I ran across this workhorse today.
I don’t know what work this old thing did but it sure did something. When these came out they had a six cylinder OHC engine. AMC bought it and it quickly turned into the AMC 327. Who knows what lurks here.

Was trying to pin down the year but about the only thing that changed was the grill. You can probably understand that the owner of this McMansion might not be so understanding of strangers tramping all over his lawn. Don’t know why I suddenly ran across two old Jeeps so close together. Think I may publish the one that I found last year but it's not a junker.
